Here are some helpful tips for caring for your jewelry:
General Care:- Apply your make-up, perfume and hair spray prior to putting on your jewelry.
- Remove your jewelry before doing any household or manual labor.
- Never wear pearl earrings or necklaces when getting your hair colored.
- Store your jewelry in pouches, boxes or zip lock bags. Wrap each piece individually, in tissue or cloth, to avoid scratching.
- Prior to cleaning your jewelry, examine it carefully to ensure that all settings, clasps, and prongs are secure. We at Stein’s are always happy to check these for you at no charge.
- To clean your jewelry, use either a cleaning solution of mild dish soap and warm water, or a non-abrasive jewelry cleaner available at Stein’s Jewelers.

Step 1: Dip your jewelry in cleaning solution or cleaner. Step 2: Use a soft toothbrush to gently loosen any dirt. Step 3: Buff dry with a soft, lint-free cloth until shiny. |
Pearls:
- Apply your make-up, perfume, and hair spray prior to putting on your pearls.
- Keep pearls covered while using hair spray and perfume. Allow residue to settle before putting on pearls.
- Clean pearls by using a mild soap and warm water.
- Pat dry with a soft cloth.
